Visual Arts
Our visual arts class offer students opportunities to create works of art that explore a range of topics and themes, using a variety of art materials, processes, and techniques. They become aware of community resources such as museums and art galleries and understand the range of careers that are possible through the study of the visual arts. Our students have had the opportunity to attend Broadway shows such as the Lion King, Wicked, School of Rock and Mary Poppins. Students reflect on, interpret and evaluate works of art using the language of art criticism, and understanding the social, cultural and historical significance of art. The basic course of study lays a foundation for life-long appreciation and enjoyment of the visual arts.
In addition, students explore digital art such as animation, 3D, and website design. They developed skills needed to get admission in prestigious colleges and success the life.
