Extracurricular
At M.S.390, we believe that balancing academics, sports, arts, engineering, emotional create a well rounded education for students. We offer more than 20 programs to our students in which we can mention the STEAM, honors, regents, robotics, digital art, music, and many more. Your child will find activities that matches her/his potential.
Honors Program

The Honors Program at M.S. 390 provides students with advanced skills while receiving additional help from both their Math and ELA teachers. This is a special program that helps students to learn and improve their grades.
Regents Program

Our Regents Program for Algebra, US History and Science is designed for high-achieving students in grades 7 and 8 who desire and are ready for the academic challenge. The program prepares students to take honors and AP classes.
STEAM

STEAM is an educational method. MS390 uses science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics to guide student learning. We prepare students for the future.
Each student has a laptop and iPad assigned.
M.S. 390 offers after school programing such as DreamYard.

Musical Theater
Our students in the musical theater program have improved in reading comprehension, social relationships, attendance, and verbal communication. Our students have performed in Once on This Island. They were selected to participate in the Bronx Borough Art Festival and DYCD city-wide festival.
